Video Virtual Garden Tour 2020

The Amazing Gardens of North Pocono!

These videos are the winners of The North Pocono Cultural Society  Virtual Garden Contest.

The Garden of Linda Stangline

Oh how you would envy Linda for her beautiful setting which includes a fenced "cottage" perennial flower bed in front of her home, the most awesome veggie garden you can imagine, a grape arbor, a wonderful potting shed and a rustic red barn. It's like a picture postcard here!

Enter your garden next year!

We anticipate moving up the date closer to the beginning of July  in 2021!

The Garden of Joe Zurcher

Z might be last in the alphabet but Joe Z's garden would be first in the eyes of any visitor. His expansive property covers acres of perfectly groomed flower beds, a shaded picnic grove, a pretty pond, and whimsical touches such as the beautiful carriage he restored last winter that holds some of his potted plants. Shrubs he has shaped into topiary forms frame the foundation of his home. This is probably the most perfectly groomed property you will ever see!

The Garden of Madge and Mike Austin

Madge & Mikes "cottage" garden has been decades in the making. Perfectly groomed perennial beds abound as well as raised beds for veggies and herbs. Looking for a place in the sun, a nook to read a book, a pond to dream by? You will find it here...

The Garden of Geri Featherby

If you look up ROCK GARDEN in the dictionary, you won't see anything near what Geri has created on the front bank of her house. A patio with scenic views, meandering paths, a koi pond, a waterfall and more ground covers than you can imagine abound here...

The Garden of Nancy and Marc Gaughan

Nancy and Marc have a sweet and private garden behind their home but the border garden is eye candy that the entire neighborhood can enjoy!

The Garden of Anthony DeScipio Sr.

At age 94 Anthony still enjoys the pleasure of his favorite hobby...gardening. This must be what keeps him "young'!

The Gardens of Audrey Jones and Carol Richey

It's hard to describe the family estate of Audrey Jones and her Mom, Carol Richey. These gals live in paradise with outstanding perennial gardens, wonderful landscapes and an expanse of green rolling hills with a view to die for!

Start planning your garden for next year's contest!

We are looking for a few Master Gardeners to help judge next year!

The Garden of Gary Fanucci

The pathway from driveway to house is a shaded tunnel of trumpet vines at Gary's house and just a small section of his beautiful gardens!

WOW! What Gardeners we have in North Pocono!

The Garden of Christopher Curry

Bored with not being able to finish his Senior year of high school with his friends and activities to keep him busy, Christopher turned to gardening and found that he had quite the green thumb!

Sandy Potter

Sandy Potter's expansive property was in the family for generations and those generations have served it well. With perennials, trees, shrubs, a pond and a stream sporting a little private bridge, there is something to appeal to every gardener here.

Join us next summer and show off YOUR garden!

The North Pocono Cultural Society thanks all the gardeners that submitted entry photos. Every entry was wonderful and contributed to making North Pocono a wonderful place to live and garden!

The 9 Gardens of Ann Marie Kelly

Ann Marie has devoted years into the development of her 9 gardens, hand built rock waterfall and quaint pond setting. There is something wonderful going on in her yard in every season to please the eye of a lucky visitor.
